The Pulsar Krypton 2 XQ35 thermal mount
The Pulsar Krypton 2 is now smaller and more balanced than its popular predecessor. The new Krypton 2 has the battery placed on top of the unit. Battery life 11h. The menu menu is now in line with other Pulsar devices and there are also 8 hot colours.
With a thermal imaging sensor based on high-precision 17 µm thermal imaging technology with 384x 288 pixel resolution and a high-quality HD AMOLED mini display, the Pulsar KRYPTON 2 XQ35 offers the sharpest possible image, while maintaining the accuracy of a daylight rifle scope. The Pulsar Krypton 2 XQ35 is suitable for a wide variety of binocular scopes and different magnification levels, and converts conventional daytime scopes into powerful thermal sights.
Pulsar thermal sights are always factory-centered (aligned) for the display. This represents a significant time and effort saving for the user of the instrument, as the actual aiming shot does not need to be taken. This is an advantage that only a small number of European manufacturers offer their customers.
A detection range of up to two kilometres
The powerful lens combined with the professional-grade 17 µm thermal imaging cell enables exceptional detection capabilities. A conventional 6-foot (1.8 m) target can be detected at a distance of up to 1,300 meters in pitch darkness.
Highly sensitive 384x288 / 17 µm thermal imaging sensor
The Pulsar Krypton uses a high-quality 17 µm thermal imaging sensor with 384x288 pixel resolution for sharp, high-contrast images and thermal sensitivity in all weather conditions.
High resolution image
The high resolution ensures excellent image quality, making it easy to identify animals and distinguish even the smallest details such as branches, leaves and cones.
Fast-locking lens adapter with precision alignment mechanism for attaching daylight binoculars to the front lens
The thermal lens attaches to the quick-locking PSP adapter for easy attachment and detachment of the binoculars. The adapter allows the thermal element to be precisely aligned with the field of view of the daylight rifle scope, making the most of its field of view.
Unmatched accuracy
The Krypton allows the shooter to focus on rapid target acquisition and finding the right spot to hit in low light conditions, without the need for cumbersome and complex adjustments. The arrangement of the components in the thermal section is designed for best accuracy and really easy adjustability. The design of the heat sink ensures unaltered accuracy when aiming at different distances.
Suitable for a wide range of riflescopes with different magnification powers
The Pulsar Krypton 2 XQ35 heat sink adapts effortlessly to riflescope magnification powers between 2x ... 6x.
Resistant magnesium alloy body
The lightweight magnesium alloy body of the Krypton makes it rugged and durable, and it can withstand the recoil of high-caliber rifles. The improved structural strength reduces vibrations during firing and improves ballistic performance. The magnesium alloy body also provides better cooling.
