PULS RECO is designed to support better recovery. This delicious vanilla-flavoured recovery drink replenishes depleted glycogen stores and provides nourishment for the muscles. The powder contains 22 g of protein and 22 g of carbohydrates – in an optimal 1:1 ratio. Made from low-lactose whey protein concentrate, the powder contains a complete amino acid profile. It supports better recovery and helps to quickly kick-start the repair of muscle damage. The combination of maltodextrin and dextrose in the product also quickly replenishes depleted energy stores.
Protein promotes the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and supports recovery after training. Carbohydrates promote the restoration of normal muscle function following high-intensity physical exercise that leads to skeletal muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores. This effect is achieved when a total of 4 g of carbohydrates per kilogram of body weight is consumed, spread over several doses during the first four hours and no later than six hours after exercise.
