Why is green propolis different?
Brazilian green propolis is collected from the plant Baccharis dracunculifolia in southern Brazil.
Its distinctive feature is its high content of phenolic acids, particularly the rare compound Artepillin C.
Green propolis also naturally contains other polyphenolic compounds and is one of the most studied types of propolis in the world.
The bees’ natural defence mechanism
In the beehive, propolis plays an important role: bees use it to protect the hive and maintain its hygiene.
This organic green propolis extract is produced at the Propolia® laboratory in southern France using a special extraction, maceration and purification process developed over more than 40 years. The aim of this process is to transform propolis – a natural resinous substance produced by plants – into a pure and consistent extract.

Use
