Portable Winch PCW 4000 is a multipurpose friction drum winch. The winch has a durable Honda 2hp GX50 4-stroke engine. The winch also has a new automatic load hold. The winch's pulling capacity is 1000 kg in direct pull and 2000 kg with the pulley wheel. Thanks to the automatic centrifugal clutch, the drum does not spin at idle. The winch is supplied with a polyester belt suitable for positioning the winch. The delivery does not include a winch rope.
This innovative winch is unique and perfect for hunters, foresters, boaters, snowshoers and off-road vehicle drivers, as well as other applications that require a compact and portable winch. Easy to use; anchor it to a pole, tree or stump, install the supplied 2m polyester cloth on the vehicle's ball plate or optional hitch. Thanks to the coil principle, there are no restrictions on the length of the rope. The rope is tied to the load and the other end is wrapped 3 or 4 turns around the reel drum. All you have to do is pull the rope and apply friction to the drum to get the load pulled.

Important to remember when choosing equipment for winching
- The maximum capacity of the winch must be much greater than the resistance of the average loads pulled by the winch. Correctly dimensioned loads extend the life of the winch and enable a momentary increase in the load, e.g. when a log hits an obstacle.
- Whenever possible, use a running cone or a similar aid that reduces the friction of the platform and the risk of sticking.
- The breaking strength of the steel wire or rope used in pulling should be at least 2 x greater than the maximum capacity of the winch used.
- The breaking strength of the auxiliary pulley wheel should be at least 2.5 x greater than the maximum capacity of the winch used.
- The breaking strength of the anchor belt to be attached to the pulley wheel or winch should be at least 3.5 times greater than the maximum capacity of the winch being used.
- The diameter of the pulley wheel, calculated from the bottom of the groove, indicates the maximum diameter of the steel wire or rope to be used. The diameter of the steel wire or rope may be a maximum of 10% of the diameter of the wheel.
