When one room needs both a sofa and a spare bed
When a living room, studio flat or study also has to serve as a place for a guest to sleep, a separate bed easily takes up space needed for everyday living. Tyyni is a 2-seater sofa bed for those who want a two-seat sofa for daily use and a spare bed that is easy to set up when needed. The same piece of furniture serves different situations without having to fit a separate guest bed into the room.
Three backrest positions for different moments
The backrest can be set to three different positions. A more upright position suits ordinary sitting, a reclined position more relaxed lounging and the lowered position use as a bed. Thanks to the three positions, you don't have to choose only between an upright seating position and a fully opened bed – there is also a more relaxed intermediate position.
Changing the position is very easy and takes only seconds. The spare bed can be made ready quickly even when an overnight guest arrives at short notice. When the bed is no longer needed, you can raise the backrest back to the seating position in the same simple way. The room returns to daytime use without a multi-step sofa conversion.
Bed size 195 × 122 cm
In the sofa position, Tyyni measures 195 × 110 × 91 cm. Its width provides two seats, so it works as an everyday living room sofa even when the bed function is needed only occasionally.
In the bed position, the dimensions are 195 × 122 × 40 cm. This gives you a spare bed 195 cm long and 122 cm wide straight from your familiar seat. The bed height is 40 cm, so the sleeping surface is not directly at floor level.
Wooden frame, padded construction and grey shade
Tyyni has a wooden frame, and the legs are also made of wood. The padding combines recycled cotton and foam. The grey Sawana 05 shade completes the look. During the day Tyyni serves as a two-seat sofa, in the intermediate position as a more relaxed lounging spot and, when needed, as a spare bed that is quick to set up.
