Pete Rickard’s Fish Oil is designed for the lubrication and maintenance of all live-bait traps, fishing gear or instant-kill traps. The trap oil ensures that the moving parts of the trap, trap or steel trap, such as the trigger board, door, release and locking mechanism, function flawlessly even in poor weather conditions without friction caused by rust.
Trap oil prevents water from adhering to surfaces, which stops important moving parts from freezing solid.
Pete Rickard’s Fish Oil smells like raw fish, so it also acts as an attractant and masks any odours left by humans.
Pete Rickard’s Fish Oil is a 100% natural product. It contains no silicone, Teflon, resin or rubber, and is acid-free.
Pete Rickard’s Fish Oil works well in Nordic conditions as its operating temperature range is -30°C to +60°C.
USE
In warm weather, apply the oil using, for example, a small brush to all mechanically moving parts of the trap and ensure that the oil is spread evenly, leaving a slight film on the surface
