Osmo Color Colourless Oil Wax 3062 is a product suitable for interior wood surfaces and gives a beautiful wood finish. It can be used for a variety of wood flooring and staircase finishes, as well as for worktops, furniture, furnishings, toys and decorative objects. Oil Wax is suitable for a wide range of wood species including pine, spruce, larch, oak, birch, beech, ash, maple, elm, alder and uncoated cork. Oil Wax is used on untreated wood surfaces or on wood surfaces sanded to a wood-pure finish in warm and cold indoor environments. It is also suitable for wood surfaces pre-treated with wood stain and for finishing surfaces that have been tinted with Osmo Color Oil Stain or Wood Wax to protect them against abrasion. Used alone, the colourless product brings out the natural tone of the wood. The treated surface remains breathable. Oil Wax is easy to apply and takes up to 20 minutes to finish the application evenly. The treated surface dries in about 12-24 hours at normal room temperature. During the drying period, it is important to ensure good ventilation. Apply the oil wax 2 times to the new surface. On a wood surface that has been tinted once, apply once. - colour: colourless - gloss: matt - coverage: minimum 24 m²/l Oil wax belongs to the M1 group of emission classifications for building materials. SURFACE PREPARATION Clean untreated wooden surfaces from dirt and dust before application. Remove previous hard coatings. We recommend sanding the surface to allow for more even absorption and to prevent the surface from becoming too slippery. CLEANING Stir Oil Wax thoroughly before use and from time to time during use. Apply with an Osmo floor roller, Osmo brush or floor care machine. Choose the tool according to the application and your preference. Allow the surface to dry properly between coats and before use. Apply a thin coat to ensure that all the material is evenly absorbed into the wood. SURFACE TREATMENT To treat the surface, all that is required is dry mopping or vacuuming and wiping with a damp floor cloth or mop. If the surface requires washing, Osmon Oil Soap is suitable. The oil plaster reaches its final hardness in about two weeks and should be used with caution until then. COMPOSITION Oil Wax contains sunflower oil, soybean oil, bear seed oil, carnauba wax, candelilla wax and paraffin wax, as well as drying agents and water repellent additives. The solvent in the product is aliphatic solvent benzine. Also like: wood putty
