Osmo Color Oil Wax 3041 is a product suitable for interior wood surfaces and gives the wood a beautiful shade. It can be used on a variety of wood flooring and staircase surfaces, as well as on worktops, furniture, furnishings, toys and decorative objects. Oil Wax is suitable for a wide range of wood species including pine, spruce, larch, oak, birch, beech, ash, maple, elm, alder and uncoated cork. Coloured Oil Wax is used on untreated wood surfaces or on wood surfaces that have been sanded to a wood-pure finish in warm and cold indoor environments. It is also suitable for wood surfaces pre-treated with wood stain and for finishing surfaces tinted with white Osmo Color Oil Stain or Wood Wax to protect them against abrasion. The treated surface remains breathable. Oil Wax is easy to apply and takes up to 20 minutes to finish the application evenly. The treated surface dries in about 24 hours at normal room temperature. During the drying period, it is important to ensure good ventilation. Coloured Oil Wax is applied to the new surface 2 times. On a wood surface that has been tinted white, apply 1 coat. - Colours: audible white (silky grey) or white oak (matt). The final shade is also influenced by the type of wood. - dosage: minimum 30 m²/l Oil wax belongs to the M1 group of emission classifications for building materials. SURFACE PREPARATION Clean untreated wood surfaces from dirt and dust before application. Remove previous hard coatings. We recommend sanding the surface to ensure that the material is absorbed more evenly and does not leave an uneven, patchy or excessively slippery surface. CARE Stir Oil Wax thoroughly before use and from time to time during use. Apply with an Osmo floor roller, Osmo brush or floor care machine. Select the tool according to the application and your preference. Allow the surface to dry properly between coats and before use. Apply a thin coat to ensure that all the material is evenly absorbed into the wood. SURFACE TREATMENT To treat the surface, it is sufficient to dry or vacuum the surface and wipe with a damp floor cloth or mop. If the surface requires washing, Osmon Oil Soap is suitable. The oil wax finish reaches its final hardness in about two weeks and should be used with caution until then. COMPOSITION Oil wax contains sunflower oil, soybean oil, gooseberry oil, carnauba wax, candelilla wax, paraffin and pigments, as well as drying agents and water-repellent additives.
