Osmo Color Wood Wax is a product suitable for interior wood surfaces and gives a beautiful wood finish. It can be used for interior panels, logs, beams, partition doors, furniture and furnishings, as well as for toys and decorative objects. Wood wax is suitable for almost all types of wood except dense, tropical and dark hardwoods. Wood wax is used on untreated wood surfaces or on wood surfaces that have been sanded to a wood-pure finish in warm and cold interiors. It gives wood breathable protection and a natural, audible or almost opaque colour. The product is suitable for use alone, where the shade intensifies with application, or applied once, it can be used as a tinting base under an audible white Oil Wax or TopOil. Wood Wax is easy to apply and there is no rush to finish the surface smoothly. The application is done at normal room temperature and the surface dries in about 24 hours. During the drying period it is important to ensure good ventilation. Lightly worn surfaces such as wood panelling should be treated 1-2 times and furniture surfaces and other surfaces subject to normal wear should be treated 2 times. - Colour result: audible and accentuating or almost covering the wood. The final shade depends on the number of coats and the type of wood treated. - Gloss: silky gloss. Shade 3186 matte aluminium is matte. The degree of gloss increases with the number of coats. - coverage: smooth wood surfaces at least 24 m²/l SURFACE PREPARATION Clean untreated wood surfaces from dirt and dust before application. Remove previous hard coatings. If the wood surface is uneven, we recommend sanding the surface to ensure a more even absorption of the product. CLEANING Stir the Wood Wax thoroughly before use and from time to time during use. Apply with an Osmo brush, Osmo microfiber roller, foam brush, wood waxing pad or wood waxing cloth 1-2 times. Select the tool according to the surface to be treated. Allow the surface to dry properly between coats and before use. Apply a thin coat to ensure that all the material is evenly absorbed into the wood. SURFACE TREATMENT To treat the surface, it is sufficient to dry or vacuum the surface and wipe with a lint-free cleaning cloth. If the surface requires washing, Osmon Oil Soap is suitable. The wood wax finish reaches its final hardness in about two weeks and should be used with care until then.
