Optixcare Eye Lube Plus 20 g eye gel is an excellent solution for treating dry eyes in your pet. This gel contains hyaluron and carbomer gel, which effectively moisturize the eyes. Hyaluron binds water and carbomer slows down its removal, allowing the gel to stay longer on the surface of the eye. The gel becomes more fluid upon contact with salts of lacrimal secretion, which facilitates its administration.
Optixcare Eye Lube Plus spreads quickly over the surface of the eye and protects the cornea and conjunctiva. It adheres well to the surface of the eye and relieves the discomfort caused by dryness. The gel protects and moisturizes even during anesthesia.
The composition of the product is as follows: sterile water, sorbitol, carbomer, hyaluron 0.4%, sodium hydroxide. Preservatives are disodium EDTA and cetrimid.
Use/dosage: Under anaesthesia, 1-2 drops are applied to both eyes on the surface of the cornea or in the conjunctival sac. For dry eyes, 1-2 drops are applied to both eyes 2-3 times a day or as directed by a veterinarian.
Warnings: This product is intended for animals only. If the product irritates the eyes of the animal, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian. The gel is sterile until the cap is opened for the first time. To avoid contamination of the tube, do not touch the eye or other surfaces with the tip of the tube. Close the cap carefully after use.
