- Care instructions: Airing and steam ironing are the best ways to care for and refresh merino wool garments. Machine wash at 30 °C on a very gentle or wool cycle. Recommended spin speed: no more than 800 rpm. A wool detergent, a very gentle spin cycle and washing in a laundry bag will help preserve your woollen garment. Do not use fabric conditioner. Reshape the garment whilst damp, if necessary. Iron on a single setting (110 °C) at most, if the steam setting is not available.
