- Care instructions: Airing and steam ironing are the best ways to care for and freshen up merino wool garments. Machine wash at 30°C on a very gentle or woollens cycle. Recommended spin speed: maximum 800 rpm. A wool detergent, a very gentle spin cycle and washing in a laundry bag will help preserve your woollen garments. Do not use fabric softener. Reshape the garment whilst damp, if necessary. Iron on a single-dot setting (110 °C) at most if the steam iron setting is not available.
