The Nordspa Thermo-X 218 is an outdoor hot tub cover fitted with extra-thick 150 mm insulation, offering extremely effective thermal insulation and protecting the tub from the elements all year round. The profile, which slopes from the centre of the cover towards the edges, ensures that rainwater drains away efficiently from the surface. This cover is designed for the extreme weather conditions of the Nordic region, where durability, insulation performance and ease of use are absolutely essential.
The EPS insulation in the Nordspa Thermo-X cover, coated with aluminium foil and non-woven fabric, is one of the most effective solutions on the market for heat retention. The insulation keeps the heat inside the pool and the cold outside, significantly reducing the need for heating and energy consumption. The 30 mm thicker ‘Extreme’ insulation layer guarantees up to 30 per cent better thermal insulation compared with standard covers.
The foldable design makes the cover easy to handle; it can be opened and closed effortlessly, even by one person. The lightweight yet sturdy construction, combined with ergonomic Heavy Duty carrying handles, ensures smooth operation. Strong fastening straps keep the cover securely in place even in windy conditions, providing reliable protection for your pool.
Thermo-X is built to last. Its robust marine-grade vinyl cover is highly resistant to moisture, UV radiation, frost and fluctuating temperatures. A galvanised C-shaped steel profile at the fold increases the structure’s rigidity and extends its service life, whilst reinforced double stitching ensures that the cover retains its shape and withstands continuous use year after year.
