Nordbo Optic Blue is a nutritional supplement developed for eye health and vision support, containing Mirtoselect® blueberry extract, isosamethyst, magnesium, zinc and beta-carotene.
Mirtoselect® is the world's most researched blueberry extract. Its development began in the 1970s and since then it has been reviewed in more than 60 positive studies, half of which have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Mirtoselect® contains a standard 36% anthocyanins (flavonoids, a type of antioxidant). The nutritional content is verified by HPLC analysis - an advanced liquid chromatography method. Blueberries (also known as wild European blueberries) are harvested in northern Europe between July and September.
The Aztec Marigold is a flowering plant that contains carotenoids - lutein and zeaxanthin.
Lutein is naturally present in the retina of the eye.
Zeaxanthin is naturally found in the macula, the part of the retina responsible for sharp vision and detail.
Beta-carotene is a carotenoid and a precursor to vitamin A.
The product is vegan certified and contains no gluten, sugar, soy or lactose.
