Omega-3 & Astaxanthin combines fresh, ASC-certified Danish rainbow trout fish oil with high-dose AstaPure® Astaxanthin.
Fish oil produced in Jutland (Denmark) is exceptionally fresh - it takes only 4 hours from fish to oil. The oil has a natural fatty acid profile, containing omega-3, 6, 7, 9 and 11 fatty acids, similar to those found in oily fish.
ASC is a global sustainability certification for farmed fish. It ensures sustainable production and good animal welfare practices. The fish live in clean freshwater tanks, and each batch is fully traceable and quality controlled.
Oil is made from 100% of the by-products of fish processing, meaning we use the omega-rich parts of the fish that would otherwise end up being discarded.
AstaPure® is astaxanthin extracted from bloodworm. Algae is a naturally colourful and powerful source of antioxidants with a distinctive deep red colour. Astaxanthin is a carotenoid and the same substance that gives salmon its pink hue. Because astaxanthin is a fat-soluble compound, it is an excellent match for fish oil.
Only two capsules per day provide a full 4 mg of astaxanthin.
The product contains no gluten, sugar, soy or lactose.
