The Nitecore EDC09 is a compact and versatile rechargeable flashlight that combines an adjustable beam angle, three different colour temperatures and a powerful, even beam in a single, pocket-sized body. The lamp delivers up to 1600 lumens of light output and carries up to 153 metres, making it an excellent work, hobby and general-purpose work-anywhere lamp.
The EDC09 uses two powerful MCT UHE LEDs and precision-engineered TIR optical lenses to produce a smooth and pleasing beam at close range and beyond. The luminaire is available in three different colour temperatures, making the same lamp suitable for a wide range of applications. The warm 3000 K light provides very high colour rendering and works well in fog, rain and precision work, for example. The neutral 4500 K light is suitable for general lighting and long working hours, while the cool 6500 K light offers maximum brightness and range.
For added usability, the 102° swivel head allows precise light directioning, even in hands-free situations. A magnetic stalk and a two-way clip allow the lamp to be attached to metal surfaces, pockets or equipment. The intuitive user interface consists of a slide switch to control power and brightness, and a separate M button to change the colour temperature or activate the warning flash.
The lamp is powered by a built-in 1100 mAh Li-ion battery, providing up to 250 hours of operation at the most energy-efficient power mode. The battery is easily recharged via the USB-C port and the light can also be used while charging. The durable PVD-coated stainless steel body, IPX6 waterproofing and 2m shock resistance ensure reliable operation even in demanding conditions.
