The frames of the NiSi Filter ND for Mavic 2 Pro filters are made of very light aluminum, thanks to which their weight is about 1.5 g.
ND filters reduce the amount of light entering the lens, allowing you to shoot with a larger aperture setting and/or slower shutter speed than the lighting would normally allow.
Extending the exposure time gives the image a soft, motion-suggesting effect, and a wider aperture setting shortens the depth of field and allows for a softer background.
Neutral density (ND) neutral filters reduce the amount of light entering the lens. Thanks to them, the shutter speed can be lowered and the aperture widened, producing a better motion blur effect or a shorter depth of field.
ND factor:
- ND4 / 2 apertures (0.6)
- ND8 / 3 apertures (0.9)
- ND16 / 4 apertures (1.2)
- ND32 / 5 apertures (1.5)
- ND64 / 6 apertures (1.8)
- ND256 / 8 apertures (2.4)
- ND1000 / 10 apertures (3.0)
