Photographing the night sky is hampered by light pollution from many different light sources, such as mercury, multi-metal, sodium and LED street lights. The glow created by these prevents the camera from recording the night landscape. The NiSi Natural Night filter is designed to filter the most common wavelengths that cause light pollution.
The NiSi Natural Night filter is made of very high quality optical glass. The surface of the filter is finished to meet the very demanding needs of the latest digital camera cells. The NiSi Nano Coating multi-coating ensures a very high light transmission and a really flat surface that prevents reflections and guarantees a picture without color defects. The filter also has a protective water and grease-repellent coating, which makes cleaning easier.
