The Nilan EC9 exhaust air heat pump is connected to the dwelling's water-cycle heat distribution system (e.g. underfloor heating). The underfloor heating is separate from the domestic hot water and supply air heating.
The product does not include a heat distribution system.
Nilan EC9 removes damp and stale air from the dwelling, and replaces it with fresh and clean air. The heat energy recovered from the extract air by the heat pump is used to heat the supply air and the domestic hot water.
In summer, the heat pump cooling system produces supply air that is about 6 to 8 degrees cooler than the outside air. The heat energy from the cooling system is used to heat domestic hot water.
As standard, the Nilan EC9 is equipped with a CTS 602 control with touch-screen HMI control panel, G4 (EU3) filters, an RST hot water tank with 180 litre additional capacity, an auxiliary heating unit, supply air cooling and powerful EC fans.
The EC9 Sol model is equipped with a solar coil to which external auxiliary heat sources can be connected.
Does not include a heat distribution system or ductwork. The product is suitable for either a water-cooled floor or radiator system.
Sensors allow appropriate ventilation based on humidity and carbon dioxide (optional).
