With the 4K HDMI™ 4x2 matrix switch and remote control, you can connect up to four HDMI™-equipped devices to two TVs, monitors or projectors independently without having to change cables. The matrix switch has two analogue audio outputs and two digital audio outputs (optical Toslink). Control is via a button on the front panel or an infrared remote control. Choose which device you want to see on which screen.
In one living room, a TV (output 1) can be used to watch football via a set-top box (input 1), while in another room you can watch a movie on a monitor (output 2) via a Blu-ray player (input 3).
This HDMI™ matrix switcher has an integrated HDMI™ audio isolator that filters the audio track from the HDMI™ cable. Audio and video are transmitted through the HDMI™ outputs to the displays, while you can separately transmit the audio signal digitally and analog to headphones, an amplifier or a receiver. An integrated digital-to-analogue converter (D/A converter) ensures that the digital audio signal is converted to analogue.
