An E27 LED luminaire that is highly energy efficient and also has a PIR motion sensor. The motion detector works up to 4 metres and detects movement using infrared signals. The motion sensor has a detection range of 120 degrees and stays on for one minute after motion detection. The motion sensor must be visible and not obscured by anything. For example, if the sensor is in the shadow of a lamp, it will not work. Even in daylight, the lamp will not come on automatically.
This LED lamp, with a warm white light of 3,000 kelvin, consumes 8.5 watts and produces 806 lumens of light. This is comparable to an old halogen bulb or an incandescent bulb of about 60 watts. This reduces direct energy consumption and therefore energy costs.
