The detector has a battery with an estimated lifespan of up to 5 years, and a sensor with a lifespan of up to 10 years.
The detector has a high-quality sensor that continuously measures the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air. Carbon monoxide is a deadly odorless and invisible gas, so it cannot be detected without a detector. This dangerous gas is produced as a product of incomplete combustion and can be present near central heating boilers, hot water heaters or chimneys. The detector complies with the required European standard EN 50291.
