This active optical cable (AOC) is the perfect solution for transferring high-quality and large amounts of data over long distances with almost no loss. Thanks to the full metal shell of the connector, the cable is well protected against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). This and the CPR certification ensure that the cable is perfect for buildings and offices as a fixed solution between the output and the display. Because connectors convert electrical signals into optical signals (light), the signal can be transmitted over longer distances than with standard copper cables, but the cable is still very thin and flexible.
