Natura Media's Curcumin capsules contain a strong concentration of HydroCurc® curcumin, which is the most absorbable form of curcumin in the world. This means that one milligram is proven to absorb the most Curcumin into the body compared to all other forms of Curcumin. Tests showed up to four times more absorption compared to some other high bioavailability curcumin preparations*! The uniquely high absorbency also enables a better efficiency with a lower dosage. Two Natura Media Curcumin capsules contain 600 mg of HydroCurc® turmeric preparation, of which the curcuminoids themselves are 510 mg. Curcumin is the most significant curcuminoid, which is also the most abundant in turmeric.
*With a dosage of 880 mg of HydroCurc®, the concentration of curcuminoids in the blood plasma was 807 ng/ml.
Superior HydroCurc®
The bioavailability of regular curcumin remains low because it is very hydrophobic and poorly soluble in water. It is also rapidly metabolized into inactive metabolites. LipiSperse® is a combination developed by the Australian company Pharmako Biotechnologies, which can be used to promote the absorption of hydrophobic raw materials. In it, the oil-like curcumin particles are combined with natural fatty acids, so that the curcumin is evenly mixed with the liquid, i.e. dispersed. LipiSperse® also protects Curcumin in the acidic environment of the stomach, slowing down its breakdown. LipiSperse® is a very natural way to improve absorption: in HydroCurc® curcumin it has 10%. It is based on vegetable fatty acids and their emulsifying effect.
