The FC-500C is a high-power full-colour luminaire with a rated output of 520 W. It combines the creative potential of colour with the light-generating properties of a point source. It easily forms a strong, compact beam when used with reflectors and lenses, or a beautiful soft light source with high luminous intensity when used with a softbox or other diffuser. It also has advanced features such as colour modes and Green/Magenta shift that allow it to be precisely matched to other light sources. Stylish and lightweight, the FC-500C is a stylish, practical and lightweight addition to any set. It is designed with a distinctive grey/black contrast body and Nanlite blue accents. The luminaire consists of a luminaire head with conveniently placed integrated controls and a clear display, and a separate mains power supply. The head weighs only 3.91 kg, making the FC-500C easier to transport and easy to set up on location. Wide CCT range, high colour accuracy The FC-500C offers excellent colour reproduction, meeting the stringent colour accuracy now required in both video production and still photography. Using Nanlite's specially developed colour mixing technology, the FC-500C offers a wide colour temperature range of 2700K-7500K and ±150 green/magenta adjustments. This allows easy fine tuning of colour performance according to time of day or different light sources. All modes can be easily controlled via the intuitive user interface on the luminaire head or via the NANLINK application. Users can effortlessly achieve the perfect lighting for their shoots by quickly adjusting colours and effects to their liking. CCT mode: colour temperature and Green/Magenta can be precisely adjusted to reproduce different lighting effects or create different looks. HSI mode: the hue, saturation and intensity of the light can be quickly adjusted and any of 36,000 colours can be selected. RGBW mode: this allows you to individually adjust the intensity of red (R), green (G), blue (B) and white (W) for a wide range of colour options. Gel mode: choose from any of 151 different gels. The base colour temperature of the light can also be adjusted and the gel colour is displayed as a useful preview on the light display. Effect Mode: 15 effects are available, and the parameters of each effect can be adjusted to create vivid-looking lighting effects. Multiple Control options The FC-500C is simple to set up and control, but very flexible. All parameters can be accessed directly via a built-in control on the body of the luminaire. Alternatively, the luminaire has both wired and wireless control options, ideal for when the luminaire head is inaccessible or when more complex scenarios require control of multiple lights:Built-in control:The FC-500C features an elegantly designed two knob, two button control layout combined with a clear display that makes commissioning straightforward. FC PowerController: the FC-500C can be connected to an optional FC PowerController, allowing the luminaire to be controlled wirelessly from up to 3 metres away. The display is duplicated on the controller, allowing users to quickly and accurately set the settings (Sold separately) Wireless Remote Controller: The FC-500C has a built-in 2.4G module that allows quick and easy remote control of various settings such as CCT, HSI and G/M shift using the wireless remote controller. NANLINK app control: the fully updated NANLINK 2.0 app provides complete and intuitive touchscreen control of the FS-500C via tablet or smartphone, greatly enhancing flexibility and usability. DMX/RDM control: for more complex lighting setups, the FC-500C is designed with a DMX port. It can be connected to a DMX console via a DMX adapter cable with a 3.5 mm connector, ensuring reliable control of multiple luminaires. A wide range of accessories The FC-500C features a standard Bowens bracket and an umbrella bracket for mounting light modifying accessories. This ensures comprehensive accessory compatibility, allowing users to take advantage of a powerful point source of light for light modification. Efficient cooling The FC-500C features a larger fan with a diameter of 11 cm, allowing efficient cooling at lower speeds. To minimise noise, it has four fan modes (Smart / High Speed / Low Speed / Off) that allow the user to control lighting and sound recording requirements.In Smart mode, the fan automatically adjusts its speed according to the ambient temperature, delivering 100% power and limiting noise levels to around 29 dBA, making it suitable for professional projects. In Smart or Full Speed mode, the maximum output is 100%. In Low Speed mode, the maximum output is 50%. In Off mode, the maximum power is 8%. Flexible power supply The FC-500C supports 48 V DC input and can be powered either by the included AC adapter or by external batteries (sold separately). When used with the FC PowerController (sold separately), the FC-500C can be powered by one or two 14.4-14.8 V/26 V batteries, allowing freedom of movement without the restriction of needing mains power. This setting also ensures that the lighting remains operational outdoors or in other environments where there is no electricity.
