Supercapacitor jump starters are high-capacity, fast-charging energy storage devices. The starting power is enough for a 5.0L gasoline engine and a 3.0L diesel engine. They have a very high power density, which allows for fast charge/discharge cycles (over 100,000) and a long service life, which makes them ideal jump starters without the need for charging. They can be stored in storage for up to years without fear of the internal battery freezing. When the device is put into operation, its capacitor is “charged” from the car battery in 5 minutes because the car battery still has power even if the car does not start. Alternatively, the jump starter can also be charged with a USB-C charger, i.e. from mains power. The power remains in the capacitor for a few hours. After that, the device is “powerless” again.
