The Mosquito Magnet trap effectively attracts mosquitoes and other bloodsucking insects in its coverage area. It mimics the way humans attract mosquitoes by releasing a consistent flow of CO2, heat and moisture. The trap vacuums mosquitoes into a net, where they die within 24 hours. The trap’s catch rate can be improved by using the booster R-Octenol, which enhances the effects of the CO2 (R-Octenol sold separately).
Requires a mains connection, comes with a 12-volt AC/AC adapter with a 15-meter-long power cord. The liquefied gas tank (11 kg) and R-Octenol cartridge must be changed approximately every 21 days. The liquefied gas tank and R-Octenol are sold separately.
The net should be emptied when it is half full.Use a replacement net to keep the trap going without interruption.
