The Monsterlux Horus Black Optic yellow LED perimeter light for round tubular surfaces is a yellow LED decorative light featuring a dark Black Optic lens. When switched off, the light has a subtle appearance, and when switched on, the yellow light is clearly visible through the lens. This model is a decorative light and does not have E-type approval, so it does not replace the vehicle’s statutory side lights. An approved yellow side light is available in the oval model from the same range (ECE R148).
The round Ø 28 mm body is shaped to fit the curved surface of a 60 mm tube, so the light is suitable for use on, for example, tubular arches, light bars and bumper tubes. The light is fitted to a Ø 19 mm hole drilled into the tube. A wide 12/24 V operating voltage range, low power consumption and IP68 protection make it suitable for trailers, lorries, vans and work vehicles.
The light has 1 LED and a 500 mm open twin-core connection cable (2 × 0.75 mm²), which is connected to the vehicle’s wiring using watertight connectors. Remove any burrs from the drilled hole to prevent the cable from being damaged during the feed-through. The Horus range includes white, yellow and red lights in both round and oval shapes, giving the front, sides and rear of the vehicle a consistent, dark look.
