The MIDWEST® Pookie Buster Kits include one 1/4" and one 5/16" slotted magnetic hex nut driver. The Pookie Buster is a magnetic hex nut driver with a patented space cut that eliminates the unnecessary extra work required to remove mastic, sealant, tape or any other type of "putty/dirt" covering the hex head of the screw. The blades are intended to be used as a standard magnetic screwdriver, but when there are several "putty/dirt" coated screws in front, the specially designed opening makes it easier to remove the material so that time is not wasted. Another advantage is the ability to reach coated screws in tight places that cannot be reached by hand. Traditional blades were not designed to remove coated screws, making the Pookie Buster far superior to all. Tips: Lower drilling speeds extend the service life. Keep the tip clean with a small screwdriver, knife or sharp screw.
