(1) - Braking performance and grip on ice, braking performance and grip on snow, durability performance - tests conducted by TEST WORLD for Michelin between December 2017 and January 2018. The tyre size was 205/55 R 16 91V and the test car was a VW Golf 7. Compared to competitors BRIDGESTONE Noranza 001, NOKIAN Hakkapeliitta 9, GOODYEAR UltraGrip Ice Arctic, PIRELLI Ice Zero. Braking tests on ice (30-5 km/h) after 10 000 km of driving in real driving conditions in northern Finland. Handling/holding tests on ice were driven on a 1 000 m long ice track. Braking tests (35 - 5 km/h) and acceleration tests (5 - 35 km/h) on snow. Based on tests conducted and published by Tekniikan Welt in 2020.
(2) - Lower tyre noise - Subjective and objective noise tests conducted by TÜV SÜD on behalf of Michelin in Germany on black asphalt roads in January 2018. The tyre size was 205/55 R 16 91V and the test car was a VW Golf VII 1.5 TSI. BRIDGESTONE Noranza 001, CONTINENTAL Ice Contact 2, GOODYEAR UltraGrip Ice Arctic, PIRELLI Ice Zero. Average of three test speeds (50 - 80 - 110 km/h).
(3) - lower fuel consumption - rolling resistance reduced by 19%. Michelin internal tests at the Ladoux Technology Centre (Clermont-Ferrand, France) from August 2016 to November 2017 on 205/55R16 X-Ice North 3 and 205/55R16 X-Ice North 4 tyres.
