2K Wood Putty (Chemical Wood) is a high quality two-component filler designed for repairing and levelling wood and wood-based materials. The product has excellent adhesion to most wood species and materials such as plywood, OSB, chipboard and MFP. The putty is easy to mix, apply and sand, with a smooth and durable finish. Suitable for use on: dry and clean wood after sanding and degreasing. NOTE! For wood species containing adhesion-promoting substances (e.g. spruce, larch, softwoods, exotic woods, birch, teak, rosewood, oak and chestnut), wiping with a suitable solvent or priming with an insulating 2K epoxy or polyurethane primer is recommended. For wood-based materials such as plywood, OSB, MFP and chipboard and metals e.g. steel, aluminium and galvanised steel (after sanding and degreasing), also suitable for abraded polyester glass laminates (GRP/GRP), polyester putty, acrylic and epoxy primers and old coatings in good condition.
