Maston 2K Two® makes 2-component painting as easy and user-friendly as painting with a standard air-drying 1-component paint. Unlike traditional solutions, the paint and hardener are already mixed inside the package, but thanks to the patented solution, the paint does not harden in the pressurized package.
Masto's 2K Two® paint is always ready to use, as many times as needed, and its shelf life is several years. The paint starts drying immediately when it is sprayed out of the pressurized container. Cross-linking of molecules ensures superior properties compared to standard air-drying paints. The hardness of the surface, resistance to chemicals (e.g. gasoline), adhesion, corrosion duration is comparable to traditional 2-component paints. In traditional 2-component solutions, paint and hardener are mixed just before painting, so the life of the paint varies from minutes to days.
The paint is suitable for almost any surface: metal, aluminum, galvanized metal, copper, chrome, wood, stone, ceramics, glass and most plastics. It can also be used to paint on a previously painted surface.
Maston 2K Two® hardener does not contain isocyanate. The product can therefore be used by both professionals and consumers, as its use, marketing and sale are allowed without restrictions (EU-2007/559), unlike most traditional 2-component solutions. Maston 2K Two® is an effective solution for everyone who wants to achieve a high-quality paint surface without complicated compressed air equipment, without after-washes and paint waste. Some alkyd paints may react with Maston 2K Two®. Do a test painting before the actual painting.
Note! Mix upside down for 3 minutes before use. Spray distance: 25 cm. The nozzle is cleaned after use by spraying upside down for 5 seconds.
Drying times: Dust dry 20-30 min. Touch dry 40-50min. Dry for 12 hours, through-dry for 7 days.
Putty / primer can be sanded 2-3 hours after painting and can be painted over after 90 minutes.
