The battery-powered UH021G brushcutter with carbon brushless motor is part of Makita's extensive 40 V product family. It has a maximum cutting capacity of 20 mm.
The blade is made of aluminium to make the mower as light as possible. The cutting blades are sharpened and shaped so that the branches go between the blades more easily and are cut effortlessly. In addition to lightness, comfort of use has been improved by designing the front and rear handles to be as ergonomic as possible, for example by changing the direction of movement of the front safety switch and the size and angle of the rear handle. The rear handle is padded on the gripping surfaces.
Effective vibration damping contributes to reducing the strain on the user. The UH021G battery hedge trimmer can be used for up to 105 minutes on a single 40 V 4.0 Ah battery. The weight of the mower with this battery is only about 3.5 kg.
