A travel cooler for storing, cooling, heating and transporting food or construction materials that require a certain storage temperature, such as adhesives and sealants.
The cooler is easy to take with you on picnics, camping trips, car trips and of course to construction sites. Excellent as a travel cooler, for example. Also suitable for indoor use in cottages, caravans etc. due to low noise level (less than 30dB @ 1m).
The bag easily holds 20 500 ml bottles. The contents of the bag can be kept at +5°C for up to 28 hours with two 40V / 5.0Ah batteries when the outdoor temperature is +30°. If the outdoor temperature is lower, the operating time is longer and correspondingly shorter in warmer temperatures. Cooling selectable for temperatures -18°, -15°, -10°, -15°, 0°, +5° and +10°. The heating mode can be set to +30/35/40/45/50/55/60° respectively.
The bag's LCD display makes it easy to check the internal temperature of the bag and the charge level of the batteries. Inside the battery case there is also a USB plug for charging a mobile phone or headlamp, for example. For carrying the bag, there are large wheels, carry and pull handles and a shoulder strap. The bag can be used with Makita 18V LXT batteries or Makita 40V XGT batteries. Power consumption when connected to mains is less than 2A (mains power adapter optional). When connected to a 12V car plug, the power consumption is 7A (24V / 4A). The device only uses power when running and e.g. if a temperature of 10 degrees is desired, the internal temperature is cooled down to approx. 8 degrees. The compressor is then switched to sleep mode and restarted when the indoor temperature reaches 11°C.
The material of the compressor is polyurethane foam. The compressor refrigerant is 26g R1234yf.
