Permit. The building permit regulations allow building with a declaration permit for outbuildings under 30m2, when you consider the following:
- Unused building right on the plot.
- You keep to the legal requirement of 4m rule limit.
- If the plot is located by a body of water, you must check the building regulations for the beach.
Treat and finish according to your style. Treat with a wood preservative or paint with an opaque wood preservative colour. When applying a paint, remember that the logs in your garden buildings have been planed and the durability of the paint is a challenge. Be sure to follow the paint manufacturers' instructions to avoid chipping off the paint finish. If you prefer, you can also make the sauna an eye-catcher in the yard with bolder colors or by accenting the door with a separate shade.
Covering materials (available as an option):A complete tin roofing package is available, which includes not only the cover but also the gable and end panels and the necessary mounting screws. The cover is available in a choice of colours: black (RR33), dark brown (RR32), red (RR29) or graphite grey (RR23). The profile we use is the R-20 profile, which is screwed directly onto the roof structure supplied with the timber. Also available is the complete Fireplace Package, which includes gable and eave felts and eave spacers. Fixing accessories are not included as there are several models of nail guns. The cover colour is available in several options: black, dark brown, red or dark grey.
