The upper is made from a combination of highly abrasion-resistant and breathable CORDURA® fabric and smooth leather. The smooth leather features LOWA®-RAYFLECT® technology, which reflects sunlight and reduces heat build-up in hot conditions. The GORE-TEX PROFESSIONAL membrane ensures the boot remains reliably waterproof, windproof and breathable, even during long operations, hunting trips or hiking excursions. A high-quality PU midsole with integrated arch support provides excellent shock absorption and support, particularly on long marches.
The boot features a certified genuine ankle protection system with PORON® technology, which protects the ankle from impacts and twists in demanding terrain. The ankle collar offers an ideal combination of stability and freedom of movement, making the boot suitable for fast transitions, long treks over difficult terrain and prolonged field use. The outsole provides excellent grip even on slippery surfaces and is also resistant to oil and petrol. The shoe is also suitable for orthopaedic insoles in accordance with the DGUV 112-191 standard.
The shoe is certified as a safety shoe in accordance with the EN ISO 20347:2012 standard, is antistatic and features a sole complex that insulates against both cold and heat. The VIBRAM outsole is re-solable, making the shoe a long-lasting investment.
