The Ledlenser HF8R Core is an adaptive powerhouse with Adaptive Light Beam Technology for automatic dimming and focusing. This makes the HF8R the first headlamp that requires no manual adjustment at all. It has different brightness levels, as well as a red light function that preserves the dim light as well as possible in the dark. Use the red light if you need to look at a map or watch in the dark, for example. The S.O.S. light function is for emergency situations to send an emergency light signal. You can access the S.O.S. light function via the Ledlenser Connect App (optional feature for a fee).
The HF8R Core features hands-free, fully automatic power and focus control, Adaptive Light Beam Technology. Sensors detect ambient lighting conditions and light reflections, and react extremely quickly, adjusting all light sources individually to the optimum for the environment. The light adapts to changing conditions completely autonomously in the blink of an eye. Thanks to the Digital Advanced Focus System, the HF8R Core enables high-quality, near-seamless focusing.
Adaptive Light Beam Technology frees your hands, but you can also manually adjust the focus of the light using the Focus Wheel.
With a continuously tilting, flat head (only 41 mm) and effortless Focus Wheel adjustment, the HF8R Core is an excellent choice for demanding applications. It provides light exactly where you need it. The lightweight and durable aluminium body protects the light during your outings. The HF8R Core is also dust and waterproof (IP68), withstanding a momentary immersion in water.
The Ledlenser HF8R headlamp features a high performance, 3700 mAh, 3.7V battery. It is easily rechargeable via a magnetic charging system. Charging time is 270 minutes, and the light can be used while charging if required.
The lamp has a memory function that sets the light to switch on from the last used light mode or brightness level when it is switched on again. The HF8R Core also has Bluetooth functionality, so it can also be controlled remotely via the Ledlenser Connect App (optional extra).
The headlamp has a battery status indicator and a transport lock. The transport lock prevents the lamp from being switched on during transport, for example in a rucksack. If the headlamp only flashes when the switch is pressed, the lamp is most likely to have a transport lock, which can be released by holding the switch down for about 10 seconds.
