The vagina is naturally acidic, characterized by a low pH. The acidity is caused by lactic acid, which is produced by lactic acid bacteria in the vagina. The acidic environment protects the vagina by suppressing the overgrowth of other bacteria and yeast in the vagina and preventing the growth of pathogenic bacteria. The acidity of the vagina decreases if the number of lactic acid bacteria decreases. This causes the overgrowth of other bacteria and leads to a bacterial imbalance, known as bacterial vaginosis. The most common symptom is a heavier than normal, unpleasant-smelling vaginal discharge that is milky and grayish. The disorder is usually not associated with inflammation. Bacterial imbalance and the symptoms it causes are common in women of all ages. Predisposing factors include menstruation, intercourse, a course of antibiotics or pregnancy.
Natural lactic acid strengthens and restores vaginal acidity, which maintains the normal bacterial flora of the vagina and prevents bacterial imbalances.
Usage
For the treatment of bacterial vaginosis: 1 vaginal tablet deep into the vagina in the evening for 7 days.
For the prevention of bacterial vaginosis: 1 vaginal tablet deep into the vagina in the evening for 3 days if necessary.
Read the package leaflet before use. Also suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
If symptoms worsen or persist after the 7th day, consult a doctor.

lactic acid 50 mg
Other Ingredients: calcium lactate, lactose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, talc, magnesium stearate.
