Lappi Ice-Ahmao's all-new, top-priced studded tyre for Nordic winter conditions. Lappi Ice-Ahma has more excellent grip thanks to Lappi Shuriken® special studs and the unique Lappi Arctic Ice™ special rubber compound.
The Lappi Arctic Ice™ special rubber compound has been developed for the varied winter conditions in the North - it works best on snow and ice, in the coldest and most demanding conditions. On cold and wet asphalt, Lapland Arctic Ice™ also offers excellent safety. Lappi Arctic Ice™ uses genuine rapeseed oil instead of harmful oils to provide a biting grip on ice and snow in cold conditions and reduce emissions. The unrivalled Arctic Ice compound combined with the extremely grippy Shuriken special studs make the Lappi Ice-Ahm an excellent winter tyre. The Lapland Ice Grip bites into ice like a wolverine's sharp claws. The "claws" of the Ice-Ahma are the unique Lappi Shuriken® special pins. Shuriken special pins provide up to 15% better grip on ice.
With the new Lapland Ice-Amma, better than usual grip and a great price are everything. Lappi Jää-Ahma with up to 5% better ice braking!Tyre testing professional BD Testing Oy tested Lappi Jää-Ahma and Nexen Winguard WinSpike WH62 studded tyres. The Lappi Jää-Ahma had 96 Shuriken special studs. Nexen had 190 standard pins. The final result of the test showed that the Lappi Jää-Ahma was 5% better than the Nexen in ice braking. Lappi Shuriken® special studs and Lappi Arctic Ice™ special rubber compound ensure extreme winter grip and controlled safety.
The TM test praised the snow grip of the Lappi Ice-Ahma. In its studded winter tyre test (27.11.2019), Tekniikan Maailma praised the snow grip of Lappi Jää-Ahma as excellent. In snow braking, the Lappi Jää-Ahma was almost half a metre better than the Continental and only 10 centimetres behind Michelin in braking distance. "If you keep up with these two great brands, the performance is good compared to any other tyre," says TM.TM was particularly impressed by the price of the Lappi Jää-Ahma, which was more than half that of Michelin and Continental. In terms of tyre noise, the Lappi Jää-Ahma was in joint first place with Continental and even quieter than Michelin. Lappi was also better than Michelin in braking on wet asphalt.
