Laboratoires de Biarritz organic creams are packaged in airtight containers. For this reason, there is a slit in the bottom of the pump bottles. The product mass itself is packed in a hermetic bag inside the outer packaging.
This packaging allows the product to be stored for longer with less preservative. If the product mass does not pump out of the unopened product package, the slit in the bottom can be gently "pumped" and slit and tapped lightly against the table. This is perfectly normal in the case of airtight product packaging.
