The lead-free Kuusamo UFO-Siira hybrid jig combines the best features of a mormyshka, balance jig, and jig head in one fish-catching and easy-to-use lure. Its thin, buoyant “pancake-like” shape glides enticingly with small wrist movements and emits a subtle vibration. The largest UFO-Siira can be rigged with a light 4–8 cm fish, worm, or insect soft bait, or with a few bloodworm larvae or a piece of worm. Fish the UFO-Siira with small wrist flicks and quick upward rod movements, causing the lure to rise and then slowly glide sideways on long drops. The action can be adjusted by selecting the jig according to the conditions: a larger fish-shaped soft bait produces a calmer movement, while a smaller jig tail creates a livelier and more expressive swimming action. The UFO-Siira is manufactured in Finland at the Kuusamo factory.
