KRAFFT Performance Low Starch Muesli 20 kg complete horse feed is an excellent choice for horses that need a low starch and sugar content in their diet. This complete feed contains only 6% starch and 5% sugar, which makes it an ideal source of energy with fiber and fat. There is also live yeast in the feed, which helps balance the horse's digestive system.
The high protein content and added minerals of this complete feed make it easier to manage the overall feeding, even if only a small amount of concentrate feed is fed. The amount of work, growth and pregnancy or lactation of the horse play a role in determining the appropriate amount.
The recommended dose for adult horses engaged in light work is 0.2-0.4 kg concentrates/100 kg and 1-1.5 kg dry matter hay or silage/100 kg. If necessary, a smaller amount of concentrate feed may be supplemented with additional mineral feed.
