To achieve the highest possible performance, a total of 4 XD lenses (2 lens pairs) are used at the end of the eyepiece. Thanks to this, color reproduction errors are significantly reduced and image contrast is significantly improved.
The Schmidt Prisma structure in Genesis/XD offers a wide viewing angle and edge-to-edge sharp image reproduction with minimal light loss. The highly reflective Kattoprisma (BaK4 + SK15) offers an almost perfect reflection and, combined with Kowa's own C3 coating, offers the brightest and sharpest image.
C3 multi-layer coatings offer accurate color reproduction and produce the best possible image. The new wide-angle eyepieces Genesis/XD33 offer a wider field of view and have a locking mechanism in the diopter control. Genesis/XD series binoculars are naturally waterproof and filled with nitrogen gas.
