Compared to conventional alloy wheels, this represents a weight saving of up to around 20 per cent, meaning that by using Puijo wheels, your car’s unsprung mass is reduced by almost 10 kg. This significantly improves your car’s handling and the transfer of power to the road. You’ll notice the difference compared to standard rims in the form of improved suspension, increased comfort and enhanced performance, such as better acceleration.
Lightness and strength through rim forging
In the first stage of rim forging, the rim blank is mounted on the forging press and heated.
In the second stage, a specially designed hydraulic forging roller forges the rim to make it wider.
In the third stage, the rim is forged to its final shape and width.
As a result of the forging process, the aluminium’s crystal structure becomes denser and stronger, making the finished rim thinner and lighter yet more durable.
Two colours: Hypersilver and Titanium
The rim-forged Puijo is available in two colour finishes, so you can find the right look for your car. Hypersilver is a brighter, more striking choice that emphasises the rim’s design and provides a sharp contrast against a dark-coloured car. Titanium, on the other hand, is a darker, more understated shade that complements light-coloured and metallic finishes particularly well. Both colours are available across the entire range.
