Kontio RockPaw Winter ATV tyre – E-approved tyre for road and off-road use, for cab-equipped and handlebar-steered tractor quads
The Kontio RockPaw Winter is a studded, E-approved tyre for road use, meaning it can be used on streets and public roads all year round.
It is the perfect tyre for the street, the road and the off-road – even when winter makes the ground treacherous. Whether you’re driving to school or leisure activities in town, off-road for fun, or working on rough roads and forest tracks, the RockPaw holds its own. The tyre is suitable for both steering-wheel-controlled cab-mounted all-terrain vehicles and traditional handlebar-controlled ATV and UTV models – equally at home as a road tyre for an all-terrain vehicle or as a general-purpose tyre for a tractor-style all-terrain vehicle.
The Kontio RockPaw Winter is not afraid of off-road terrain, tarmac or slippery winter conditions. The tyre’s studs provide a secure grip on icy and snowy surfaces – making this reliable tyre suitable for year-round use, from summer to winter.
In Finland, an E-approved tyre, such as the Kontio RockPaw, may be fitted in a size larger than that specified in the vehicle registration document without the need for a modification inspection, and on both-steered ATV models and steering-wheel-controlled enclosed all-terrain vehicles, provided the tyre’s outer diameter remains within ±5 per cent of the original.
