The upgraded H35N has several new features, including a built-in star filter, bulb shutter, tripod mount and a semi-glass coated lens. The semi-cinema means that each exposure is half the size of a standard film frame. This means that 36 rolls give you 72 images and 24 rolls give you 48 images. When you look through the viewfinder, you see a vertical image instead of the normal horizontal image. In the new camera, Kodak has improved the optics and one element of the acrylic lens element has been replaced by a glass lens, which helps to improve image sharpness. The camera also has a built-in star filter that creates a four-beam circle at the light points. The H35N is also equipped with a bulp shutter and cable shutter, so exposure duration is precisely adjustable, allowing for motion capture and facilitating use in low light. The camera is available in six stylish finishes: striped black, striped silver, striped green, glazed blue, glazed orange and glazed pink.
