Kattovit Niere / Renal Turkey 85 g sachet for cats is a special food for cats with kidney diseases or chronic kidney failure. This food supports kidney function and contains reduced protein levels and calcium citrate, which prevents the formation of urinary stones. In addition, this food contains a low phosphorus and sodium content, as well as a high content of taurine.
The recommended amount of feeding depends on the weight of the cat. For a cat weighing about 3 kg, 2 bags are recommended daily, while for a cat weighing about 5 kg, 3 bags are recommended daily. It is important to provide fresh water at all times.
We recommend talking to your veterinarian before starting feeding. The recommended course duration is 6 months.
The ingredients are meat and meat by-products (contains e.g. 5% turkey), grain (100% rice), vegetable by-products, oils and fats, and minerals (0.2% potassium citrate). Sources of protein include chicken meat (9.5%), turkey (5%), liver (11%), chicken liver (3%) and rice (cooked) (0.8%).
As supplements, Kattovit Niere / Renal turkey food contains vitamin A (1040 IU/kg), vitamin D3 (125 IU/kg), vitamin E (20 mg/kg), iron [iron(II) sulphate monohydrate] (40 mg/kg), zinc [zinc oxide] (27 mg/kg), copper [copper(II) sulphate pentahydrate] (1.2 mg/kg), manganese [manganese(II)sulfate] (1 mg/kg), iodine [potassium iodide] (0.6 mg/kg) and taurine (720 mg/kg).
