K2 Silicone Gray is a high-quality silicone that is ideal for use as a sealant on surfaces requiring high heat resistance. The silicone withstands high temperatures of up to 350 °C and meets the requirements of car manufacturers (OEM – original equipment manufacturers). Replaces traditional sealants: cork, paper, felt, asbestos and rubber. Resistant to oils, greases, coolants, etc., and is sensor-safe.
It can be used in all car models and makes, including for sealing: valve covers, thermostat gaskets, oil pans, water pumps and many other components requiring a tight seal and high-temperature resistance.
Instructions for use:
1. The surface must be dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and any residue from old sealant.
2. Apply a small amount of silicone to the surface.
3. Remove any excess with a knife dipped in soapy water.
4. The sealant begins to set after 5 minutes; after 1 hour, it is touch-dry. It will be completely dry after 24 hours.
5. Any excess cured silicone can be removed with a sharp tool.
6. Close the tube after each use.
