Birger Kaipiainen’s perhaps most iconic design, ‘Tarha’, has been reimagined in a range of beautiful and durable home textiles. The Tarha pattern features elements familiar from Kaipiainen’s ceramic works, such as violets, fruits and berries. These tea towels bring Finnish design and practicality to your kitchen décor and also make a lovely gift.
The Tarha kitchen tea towel is part of the Jokipiin Pellava x Kuovi collaboration collection. Complete your kitchen décor with this beautiful classic!
Material: 50% linen, 50% cottonWashing instructions: Wash linen items at 60 degrees, separately from other laundry. Separate dark and light-coloured textiles. Soak the textiles thoroughly before washing. This ensures that the water dispensed by the machine is not absorbed by the textiles, leaving more water for the wash cycle and for rinsing away loose fibres. Check the machine’s lint filter regularly, especially before and after washing a new item for the first time. Follow the washing instructions on the product label. Straighten and hang the textiles on a line to dry. Avoid tumble drying, as this wears down natural fibres. Press smooth linen textiles whilst they are still damp. Linen also withstands high ironing temperatures well.
