The beautiful ‘Humisevat hongat’ pattern has been designed by the award-winning design duo Saana and Olli. The pattern really comes into its own after the first wash, when the fabric’s absorbency and texture are fully revealed. The designers describe the pattern as follows: “The ‘Humisevat hongat’ pattern we designed for Jokipii Linen is as grounding as a walk in your favourite forest. The print brings a sense of rootedness to every day, reminding us of what really matters. The products are built to last, accompanying you now and in the future.
- Material: 50% linen, 50% cotton
- Washing instructions: Wash linen items at 60 degrees, separately from other laundry. Separate dark and light-coloured textiles. Soak the textiles thoroughly before washing. This ensures that the water dispensed by the machine is not absorbed by the textiles, leaving more water for the wash cycle and for rinsing away loose fibres. Check the machine’s lint filter regularly, especially before and after washing a new item for the first time. Follow the washing instructions on the product label. Straighten and hang the textiles on a line to dry. Avoid tumble drying, as this wears out natural fibres. Press smooth linen textiles whilst they are still damp. Linen also withstands high ironing temperatures well.
